ACT clutch dragging/not disengaging

I'm currently running an ACT HD Street clutch (SB7-HDSS) on my turbo FR-S. At first everything was perfect, but after being installed for only a few thousand miles its having issues disengaging. Everything is fine when the car is off, and when I first start it. But once everything is warmed up, the clutch is dragging sometimes and is locking me out of gear at stoplights.

I have adjusted the clutch pedal up a bit higher and it helped a little, but I'm still having issues. It's getting difficult to drive sometimes, to the point that I'm afraid to let my wife take it (last thing I want is her stuck with a line of cars behind her because she can't get it into any gear and doesn't know what to do).

I'm going to have my mechanic pull the tranny and inspect everything again - We'll be seeing about warranty replacement but I'm not sure I trust ACT after reading of others having similar issues. Any recommendations on a clutch that won't give me problems?

I had issues with that clutch, particularly the disc. I had it in for about 500 miles. And then finally went to go start getting on the car and it slipped right away. I swapped in a 4 puck disc from ACT, and now have no issues, although sometimes it is a bit noisy when it gets hot but it seems to not be doing any damage..

Im wondering if you somehow got an older model that was sitting on a shelf cause if I recall when these cars first came out the ACT clutch had issues like this and i think they fixed it. Or maybe it was exedy.

having the same issue as well as vibration/resonance sound coming through the clutch pedal.

Yep - I'm getting that vibration as well. Also finding that the clutch slips badly at takeoff sometimes, and on the highway as well. Definitely not happy to have this happen in only a few thousand miles.

Ever figure this out?

Otherwise seems yet another failure with ACT clutch. Most "fixed" it by installing other clutch. For example reverted to OE or some Exedy. Here another recent one with ACT.
