Turbo Kits that don't vent to atmosphere

Which turbo kits have diverter valves which vent back into the intake and wastegates which vent into the exhaust. I want a turbo, don't want any turbo noises... :bonk:

then buy a supercharger if you don't want turbo noises... either way you'll get sound from the wastegate or you'll get compressor surge from there not having a BOV. Also you'll get spool sounds.

sound from the wastegate throught exhaust and muffler = OK
Spool sounds = OK

"compressor surge from there not having a BOV" = WRONG
:laughabove:

Diverter valves are BOV's, they just "divert" to the non pressurized intake side. Like the kind used by OEM's (Ford, Porsche, Ferrari, Nissian, GM, shall I go on?)

instead of having this kind of response you should have been clearer in your original post. Should've said I want a Bypass/Diverter valve.

Diverter valves or bypass valves are in fact different from a blow off valve but a blow off valve could also be a bypass valve. NOT having one will in fact create a compressor surge sound. SBD kit is an example of this.

Most people who are looking for very specific guidelines for their kit (like you) will just go custom. So that's what I recommend.

I know JDL can do a recirc wastegate.

My Bad!!! I forgot the word "Diverter"

...there is always the option of getting a custom KIT that I've never really thought about. All of these requirements can be met by the AVO kit but it's quality is garbage. There's has to be someone else off the shelf.

this is important information...

Neither recirc requests are difficult to do, just talk to the shops that make there kits.

We do recirculated dumps and diverter valve setups quite often. It's not standard on the kits but can be done easily. :)

The SBD comes with a blowoff now

You can recirc a greddy.

The greddy blowoffs can recirculate, but I don't think they come with the kit, you would need to buy one and weld a flange. SBD added one to their kit.

Full Blown offers a recirculating wastegate.

Also on some BOV, they actually have a part simply there for the noise, remove it and it just vents.

On the HKS SSQV BOV's you take off the housing and pull out the silver sleeve. They sell a purple sleeve you replace it with ($20 or so) and it makes the BOV less obnoxious... not as quiet as recir back to the intake though-

Ya, there are a ton of options. But basically, I would not not decide on a kit based on whether or not it recirculates, since you can add this later or switch the blowoff to a recirculating, or even some how recirculating converters. There are many many options.
