Rattling lower center console dash cubby hold

Anyone had any success getting this to stop rattling? It's held in by 6 clips. I have the BRZ limited so it is the one with the start button. When it rattles and I press on the frame top/bottom in the center, it stops rattling. There's grooves around the perimeter of the hole where it fits into, there's probably about 2mm of space where it inserts.

well then fill the 2mm with something and report back ??

Use thin buffer tape and re install should fix the issues, once I applied on the cubby and master window switch rattles were gone.

Probably double sided tape(the thick foam kind). I'm guessing he's not from Murica so they use different names sometimes. We are taking about the one next to the usb directly below the had unit right? Can you pull it out and reinstall it? That thing fits pretty tight I'm surprised it can rattle

I had a rattle in that area in my FR-S. Turns out to be a loose cable and dealer tied it up for me. Fixed.
