St coils front coil binding

I just bought used st coils with front top hats. i have coil binding issue which is probably caused by the MOTORSPORTS top hat. anyone else running into coil binding issue which causes a twang sound? any fixes? I heard grease helps but i think that's only temporary

thrust washer or thrust bearing or radial bearing. Even something as simple as a delrin washer may work.

If coil bind is the issue then they would all work.

What top hats do you have? Are the springs seated correctly?

I have MOTORSPORTS top hats. yea they are seated correctly from what i can see. i bought them used with the coils pre-assembled.
