I wouldn't do it for high beams I hear the Led light output doesn't go as far down the road. Order from ft86speed factory if they still sell the ones they got. They have grea service if anything goes wrong with them

I saw in one of the reviews of the multi colored LED DRL's that you lose your ability to have high beams. Is that true for LED DRL's?

Also, the bulb design of the colored LED isnt listed in the description of how bright it is compared to stock like the rest are. Just curious :)

Can Confirm. If you care about your high beams do NOT switch your DRL's to LED's. Ended up switching my DRL's back to stock bulbs because the output of my low beams were better than my LED*hi-beam.

Just get a bixenon projector swap. That way, you can keep your LED DRL's and have high beam.

The RGB LED DRL's are definitely a cosmetic upgrade only. They are not going to give you a significant amount of usable output, so if you use your high-beams often, I'd stick with a single-color bulb.

I'm reading up on long term reliability of HID vs LED bulbs and I'm wondering, does a constant switching on and off affect the life span of led bulbs or does that only apply to hid?? I read about the difference how much voltage is needed to strike the arc of a cold lamp vs hot lamp.

I have these....they've been working great since November. Each bulb needs to be at least 2000 lumen each. Also you need to re aim your headlights after or they will be too high.

These are a diode light, they barely emit any heat, not effected by on off cycles, the ballast will protect it from any spikes or under volt. about 50,000 hours life. Thats 6 years of life if you keep your headlights on 24/7 for 6 years.
