Surging Idle
My idle is surging from 1grand to 500. Does it when I'm parked and when I'm at a light with clutch depressed and car in neutral
Anyone else have this problem |
I've seen this posted before but I'm not quite sure what the solution is.. I'm driving a 16 frs with maybe 4000 clicks on it.. and it's done since I pulled it outta the show room

Ahh well it might be normal. I read some articles where its an ecu problem and Toyota will re-flash but mines a 13 with 46k on it. I do have an extended warranty.

Heater was on, but no defrosters. Chilly this morn but it did it last weekend and it was in 70s. TSB says occurs after 25 minutes or more of highway driving then stopped. Also tsb is automatic mines manual

Surging Idle
My car does this sometimes too, live with it or get real good gas.... Doesn't seem to do it if I just put some octane booster in.. But probably just placebo effect. LoL
Mine is 15 & I complained to the dealer & there was not thing they can do since my ecu/pcu is obvious on the new firmware already... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
