Can you run E85 on OFT without headers? What benefits do you get on OFT without E85?

Yes, you can run E85 using a tune from OFT without headers. If you're simply running a OFT without E85 then it's off the shelf tunes unless you get a custom one.

I ran the OFT E85 EL tune with my stock header/manifold. Power increase was significant and I don't see myself ever going back.

I recently installed a header and the difference was negligible. So negligible that unless you want the header for increased sound I would just skip it.

My OFT came pre loaded with the tunes but I bought mine second hand. I have since downloaded the most recent updates. Its really easy to do and there are plenty of tutorials on Youtube to walk you through the process if needed. Also, there are a few people on here including Shiv that are very helpful and responsive if you have any questions.

If you bought it second hand it may have old V1 tunes on it.

Best to download the latest V2.07x tunes from the oft downloads site

If you buy a new oft it will have latest tunes preinstalled if your on popular USA/Canada calibrations.

But you can always be sure by downloading the latest revisions from the www.openflashtablet.com web site

you're "relatively" new to the forums (quiet member not many posts etc). People are going to post on every single thread :search:, because quite frankly a 5 minute google search would've found the answer to the question for a whole slew of issues.
