Need immediate help with wheel fitment problems
So I just got some x9.5 wheels wide, I'm on airlift performance bags. My wheels are rubbing my bag, how does everyone else run wide wheels with bags? I bought 8mm spacers to give it some clearance but they're telling me I need extended lug studs to fit on but I can't see how that'll affect it because I've run 7.5 wide wheels with 2 inch adapters before perfectly fine. Please help me figure this out ASAP because I can't really drive!

What offset wheels?

Give us your full wheel/tire specs and you'll get a lot more accurate information. Technically you shouldn't run wheel spacers bigger than 3mm on stock studs , but you can always go with bolt on ones.

wheel offset, width, and tire size determine fitment. not just wheel width by itself.

Ill respond to this thread how I respond to my coworkers. Poor planning on your behalf does not constitute a emergency or immediate help on my part :P. Jokes aside your alignment information may be of help here as well.

Spacer and adapter different. You need spacers, 8mm sounds like it should still fit. I read one you need lug stud diameter worth of engagement minimum. Anything over that is gravy

+20 offset wheels, and I switched to a 5mm spacer hub centric so hopefully that will work. I'm just worried my bag is going to pop and my tires will be ruined within two months. Thanks for all the feedback.

Ok I'm back, I bought camber bolts and am running them now and the problem of rubbing seems to be fixed. There's now a noise coming from my front left wheel sounding like you're running your nails through a comb or like nylon cracking. Any ideas?
