Berk Frontpipe to Perrin CBE install question

Sorry if it's already been posted,

Was wondering if you are supposed to reuse the stock donut gasket between the Front Pipe and Midpipe?
Perrin uses a flat gasket, so do I just chop off the extended bit of piping on the end of the Berk Front pipe to mate the 2 ends together with a flat gasket in between?

Just wanted to clarify before I go cutting things up
Thanks!

Toss the donut, cut off the end, and use a flat gasket with normal (non-springy) bolts.

You shouldn't need to cut anything. Gasket should fit over the end and fit inside the perrin flange.

So slide the donut onto the frontpipe end and fit that end with donut into the perrin midpipe without a gasket?

No donut. just the flat gasket.

The flat gasket is for the overpipe to front pipe.

The stock donut gasket is reused.

Perrin CBE is a 2.5" flat flange, not the stock style donut.

I just did this with nameless fp/op which has a provision for the stock donut gasket, as well. Didn't use the donuts, just used the flat gasket and the protrusion from the fp/op fits inside the Perrin no problem and seals fine.
