Airlift replacement strut
 

I've torn the bellows on the front left strut and was wondering if anyone out there might know where I might find a replacement strut. I only need the strut body (with functional bellows of course lol) Don't need hub mount, top-hat etc.

I searched Airlift's parts section of their website and found nothing :iono:

Email customer service. I believe you can get replacement bags for about $150.

Yeah those bags are for the universal kit, bags on the struts are a one time only deal, can't be swapped so the whole thing needs replacing

Just find the correct size like the billow bag and order it and take off the old one and replace it a buddy of mine did his like that and plus you learn alot more that way

The bands are pressed on with a machine, I've looked at removing/replacing them but it's not possible. Plus the only bellows I've found are closed end universal ones, which are a different part number

Did you think about getting in touch with the manufacturer? I bet they could hook you up

Yeah I will eventually, I've noticed there's a lot of resellers of airlift parts so I thought someone here might be able to point me in the right direction, it's cheaper than international phone calls lol

im in the process of ordering a new double bellow bag as well. i contacted airlift and the part number is 58529. u can get them from any airlift dealers from what i was told. @lukey86

But how the hell would you put it on??? Can't even get the old one off lol

Ahhhhhhhhhhh I see!! I didn't know you could just unscrew everything. And this is exactly why I use forums lol

How did you remove the old bellow bag from the strut assembly in the front? I removed the top hat and everything but can't break the threads loose from bottom of the torn bag.

Mine was loose, maybe it's the sealant they use in the factory, if you have access to a large vice you could mount the lower part of the bag in there and use the hub mount as leverage to spin the damper, sounds like it just needs to be cracked hey

The hub mount and locking collar actually twist downward along the strut if I try to use them as leverage.

Yeah I see what you mean, you could take the locking nuts off and screw them back on underneath the hub mount, that way it will all lock in place
