Is there any issues with buying a used OFT?
I installed a catless header and have thrown a CEL so I figured it's time to get a tune. Is there absolutely any downfall to buying an used OFT just to save some bucks?
|
Nope. Just make sure they un-marry it from their car.

As for tune wise no. On open flash's website you can get free off the shelf maps for life.

Do it. I just bought one used and everything is working great. I'm running the basic stage 1 93 octane map, it it made a pretty noticeable difference. Can't wait to get some headers and start running E85.

No just the e85 map. Only bad thing about e85 is that it is hard to start in the winter. A lot of people switch over to 91/93 in the winter. But I heard there is a flex fuel kit in development. |

My supra runs E85 and i just didn't know if the FA20 needed a flex fuel kit for some reason. Thanks guys!! I'll pick up an OFT soon!
