CR2P Wheels

Is anyone running stancenation CR2P wheels: Front 18x8.5 +40 Rear 18x9.5 +40. Is this a good fit with springs?

TylerLieberman 10-06-2015 09:58 PM

Stancenation makes wheels now?

Fuck.

MisterSheep 10-06-2015 10:01 PM

I believe stancenation doesn't make wheels.... But I say go for it. It wont look #stancenation without coilovers for that #hellaflush look.

Oops I think the actual brand might be work emotion

So you are looking for WORK emotion 2 piece wheels

gmanvilla1@gmail.com 10-06-2015 10:13 PM

Correct.

What size tires do you recommend for those size wheels on springs?

Depends on the offset.. But since I see you doing 8.5 and 9.5 I'd do 235/35 front and 255/35 rear

gmanvilla1@gmail.com 10-06-2015 10:35 PM

Offset is +40

TylerLieberman 10-06-2015 10:36 PM

Lol I know, I was just being sarcastic.

There should be quite a few threads of people running similar specs on their cars here on this forum. Even though they aren't the same wheels, they'll provide the same results because they're running the same size and offset.

Typically, I see people with setups like that running something like 225/40 up front and 245/35 or 255/35 in the rear. I personally am not a fan of staggered setups on these cars, and others will tell you the same, as from a "performance" standpoint, it isn't ideal on this car. If it were me, I'd run something like 18x9.5 +40 with 265/35s all around.

Thank you. That set up would require coilovers right.

That would look widdddde and mean. I can vogue for a non staggered setup. But at the same time I think 265 is too much meat for these cars with stock power.

I thought the same thing and then I ran it on mine and it was crazy good. Others like @Jive Turkey can vouch for the 265 width squared setup. Of course, tire size only does so much. It also comes down to the compound, suspension, and alignment.

LOL @ "stancenation" name combined with a +40 offset
