Transmission fill and drain plugs
 

Does any one know the parts # for both the fill and drain bolts of the transmission? When I was swapping transmission fluid I accidentally stripped mine a bit so I want to get new ones. I know that the drain plug is magnetic but I'm assuming the fill plug isn't and is different. Where can I buy them?

Here are the Subaru part numbers...

MT fill plug: 17007AA060
MT drain plug: 17007AA070
Gasket/washer: 17008AA050 (same for fill and drain)

That or Subaru parts online..

You might consider putting a bit of gasket seal on the new plugs when you put them in ..... just in case you buggered up the threads in the transmission.

Then check for any leaks after a few miles.

Good idea. But it depends if he actually stripped the threads or just the hex head part. If it was the threads I'd actually prefer proper thread sealant like permatex or loctite 507.
