How well does 18x9.5 fit on the front?

Anyone here run 9.5 width on their fronts? I'm trying to go square so I can rotate my wheels and was wondering if there are any issues that arise when running a 9.5 in the front.

Will be using Tein coilovers, not planning on making it low as hell.

Thanks!

Yes people do run 9.5 in the front. Depends on offset if you will have issues. You might rub depending on how low you are, your offset, and tire size.

I run 18x9.5 +40 245/40 tyres without any scrubbing issues at all. It scrubbed on full lock when i first installed them but the car had toe out after fitting coil overs. after the wheel alignment no issues what so ever. https://scontent.fsyd4-1.fna.fbcdn.n...ed&oe=5BD12803

I have Tein Flex A, 18x9.5 Rays with 245/40 MPS4. only slightly lowered, like 1.5"

No problems at all (with coilovers).

Rotation is a good idea, I notice fronts wear out a bit quicker than rears.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...38a1873fab.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0246f4f410.jpg

Sounds good, and in terms of being low the car isn't going to be crazy low, I'm going for functionality over looks so the wheels gotta clear. Thanks for the response!

That's good to know, I was planning on doing at least 265 all around. I care more about tire size than lowness so as long as I get it to fit without any rubbing I'll be happy, thanks for the response!

I have Tein Flex A with Work Emotion Kiwami 18X9.5 +38 255 35 R18 MPS4. No issues fitting, however I have read on the meaty tire thread that 265 does rub in the rear.

On 255 35 R18, no issues with rubbing for the most power EXCEPT when I make a right turn into a driveway, the compression causes it to rub on the Driver Side Rear Bumper corner.

My alignment specs are -1.0 Camber 0 Toe Front, -1.1 Camber Rear 0.08 Toe-In Rear. I have SPC LCAs to align the rear.

Running -1.0 camber or close in the front causes the tire to stick out a lot, I'd recommend around 1.4~1.5.
