Put more fuel in the car.

:D

May not be applicable, but are you using the verus fuel flap? It mostly closes the drain port in the basket to keep it from emptying when fuel is pulled by gravity enough

They specifically say "This is not a replacement for a surge tank and will not allow you to run the tank dry. " But who knows.

that looks like a massive pain to install...

Not really. Pull the pump hanger, which he's already a pro at, and it slides/clips in.

It takes 15 minutes.

I think I am running the OE basket dry. I have a walbro F90000295 in the basket with the return ran to the factory jet pump.
Happens during a pull 1,2 and in 3rd it goes lean, running e85 and bosch 2200cc injectors on a k24
Now to solve this problem.

So is this a fuel pickup problem or a fuel delivery problem? Are you accelerating so hard that the fuel is getting moved away from the pickup when the tank is low, or are you getting this with a full tank too? If it is the former then you need to top up regularly or install a surge tank. If it is the latter then you need a better delivery system. What about running a dual pump system?

Why is everything censored? For what it's worth on the factory tank, I have to keep it above 1/2 otherwise i get fuel slosh and fuel cut super bad sometimes mid pull if the pump isn't able to pick up enough fuel. Not really the end of the world since I know there has to be some downfall to not running a surge tank or aftermarket fuel cell.

Something went down. I don't know if it was with forum users or mods but he's censored a ton of his good info. Its a real pity for the community that someone caused this but its his right to alter his posts if he wants :iono:

iirc, it had something to do with some 'discussion' in the covid thread that went far off sideways. he took some post deletion as censorship, and well, the rest is history.

Well he certainly is making his point as I see it. Personally, I don’t like having my posts removed either. Kudos to @solidsnake11

They do these things all the time. I’ve had posts removed.

A few weeks back I posted a well done video by Vice or Cut or something that was a chronology of every major legislation, political move or lack of move put forth by the government and the current administration prior to and since COVID as it related yo the pandemic and government agencies that relate like the CDC. Because the video had Trump as the album art, and because they said facts that weren’t flattering to Trump, like how he tried to cut funding to the CDC, the video was removed. It was probably deemed too political.

Solidsnake11’s content typically strays from facts to conspiracy theories. Some political commentary is allowed if it is generalities like saying the government is going back on lockdown, but not other things that violate the rules of the forum. I’m pretty sure what he posted violated the policy.
