QUESTION ABOUT A 2015 BRZ
Hi there! Im new here, as this will be my first post!So I just managed to get my hands on oem suspension with under 2 k miles for 100 bucks, but theyre from a 2020 brz, I have a 2015. My question is, is it possible to put 2020 suspension on a 2015? Or are there issues?

If they physically bolt up then should be fine. Be a pioneer. Try it and let us know for the next guy who asks

They work just fine. Why do you want to replace your 2015 suspension though? There is no perceivable gain , just Toyota saying they changed damper rates..

Check https://parts.subaru.com or https://parts.toyota.com. Compare the part numbers for the suspension bits. That'll give you a better idea for compatibility.

Possible is a relative thing... my 2005 Subaru Impreza wagon has Forester brackets, Outback Sport springs, aftermarket trailing endlinks, AGM (STi basically) adjustable dampening struts... Gives it a mild lift I didn't include the spacers I had so it's only like an inch instead of 2 like my 03 WRX had. Mostly it was all bolt on.. Just remember that of you mess with any of the geometry you mess with ALL the geometry. (most everything is adjustable though). I assume* (not sure) it will mostly be bolt on which is what I think you are asking but I've seen VW beetle monster trucks possible is a very relative thing.

@multyvers7 I'll try to help again. Yes 2020 suspension is fully backward compatible with a 2015 MY. I've been there done that...
The only difference is the spring rates between 2015 and 2020 with the latter being more Road biased. Some pics of part numbers Attachment 210041Attachment 210042Attachment 210043Attachment 210044 Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk |
