Dead frs !!!!

Hello ! I drive a standard 2015 frs and have just recently installed a new k&n cold air intake. I finished the install and everything is put together, but the car won’t start!!!! it just goes into auxiliary with no climate control and the center console doesn’t come on. I’ve checked the battery, and fuses for anything wrong but they are completely fine. Anyone got any ideas on how i can get it started ?:bonk:

Manual transmission or automatic?

Any other modifications made to the car? You should list them all to give us an idea on where to start troubleshooting.

how did you check the battery? what voltage is it at? did you check the fuses on top of the battery?

Choke a car, it'll die.. did you take off the protective K&N packaging before installing?

Well not to sound like a scrub I jumped the car off because the battery did die after i put the intake. No clue what voltage it’s at and the fuses are definitely working correctly I would think because the car has auxiliary power.

The "auxiliaries" can work on 4 to 10 volts. the car will not start on that. Do a proper check of your battery.

What did you do? Pull the engine to put the filter in?

Is the car cranking or not? If not, or there is just an audible click but no cranking, check your battery.

Any issues before the intake? It's not the issue IMO, as you can start the car with the intake entirely off....

The starter won’t click as if the battery were dead when i turn the key. About to check how many volts the battery is putting out now

If just jumped, it’s not charged yet
