Even 2600 USD is too much for that thing given the condition it is in. $1500.. in this economy and after Obama's State of the Union speech is probably realistic.

Guy locally dropped the price on an ST165 Alltrac Celica down to $1200. Soooo tempting... All he says it needs is rear brake lines and starter (and it's cosmetically rough).

I could pull the trigger on $900 and not feel bad if it's fubar'd.

I love both liftback and coupe ver of this car. Just can't get enough of it!

I read an article on an Aussie guy that put a 1UZFE in one, that might be the car.

If I can get that ST165 for $900 I'm doing it. They are soooo rare. WRC heritage! But I will have to sell the Legacy to make room and have some funding to fix it up. Good match for the Supra, they're both '89s.

I was looking at a first gen Celica 3 years ago, all original for $4000. Condition was good enough to qualify for collector plates. I ended up going for the Supra instead. Long-term that might have been the wrong choice.

Classic, unmodified Japanese sports cars are going to be the next collector items...

I'll go on old school way just like top secret, 2TG with 40mm side draft or 18RG With 40mm side draft or better yet join the 2TG & 18RG to make a 3TG.
