bump!
If you missed Centralia this is your next go-to event to have great fun and great competition. |
Still waiting for the wife to have our baby... I'll be likely be missing this one. Good luck! See you later in the month.
|
bumpity bump!
|
I'll be at the OTA school otherwise I'd be there.
|
husband signed us up for this.........not sure how he's planning on both of us using my car, but i think i should stop this now, and make him take his own car
|
apparently you can both drive the same car for this event. i asked about that because I wanted my brother to use my car too
|
Co-drives are welcomed and encouraged. We will just separate your numbers by 100 so there is some time in between your two runs.
|
Quite a few people do co-drives. One guy and his wife share their Cayman S at most events.
|
Engsr from Toronto Integras?
Edit: oh shit, it's Bryan! Hey buddy! |
i just really want him to bring his own car......i don't want to share any more :mad0260:

Good to see another handful of FRS/BRZs today. The course was super tight in a few spots, especially the slalom. I can't remember a course there where I only needed to shift back into first just once.
Results should be officially posted by mid next week, and event 5 is in another two weeks. Again. |
it was fun.......even though my husband beat me by 5 seconds........:(
well at least i find comfort that i had couple of people who were slower than me yeah....i'm slow |
vids!
I am car number 11. Great to see what I think is a record number of FRS drivers out there. Keep coming out. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaRKCawnkEw"]2014 PITL #4 - YouTube[/ame] |
That turn before the slalom.....I hit the cone there on 3/5 runs *sigh* but none the less I had fun and I was car #101
|
^ For some reason I think I missed you/your car during the shuffle of the day. Hopefully you had your registration taken care of from last time.

no, not me, sorry. My car is open for the first 3 runs, after that it gets serious :) |

It was great to go with others and learn the course.... Also a good way to see how I should improve myself....my hands still tend to flail around but it's gotten so much better since the spda autocross Next time I'll just duct tape them to the wheel ;) |

yes, this was a very tight autocross and required some hand shuffling in a couple of spots, but overall the majority could be completed by keeping at the 9-3 position the trick is also timing, because if you turn in too late, then you have to complete a tighter turn, which translate into having to require more steering input. if your timing is correct and your inputs are quick, you'll find that all of a sudden turning the wheel only half way is sufficient. please keep coming out! only one way to learn and that is to practice! |

If you want to see hands flailing: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2LP2Rmt-TU"]Acura Integra #177 - PITL #2 2014 - YouTube[/ame] It's easier for RWD because you can steer with the throttle. FWD, not so much, haha. |
