*PHASTEK* High / Low Beam Fog Lights for the FR-S & BRZ

There was enough interest in the original thread to start a sales thread.

*PREORDER THREAD*

These are glass projector housings that are available in two forms:
  1. Low Beam Only
  2. Low / High Beam (mechanical flap similar to FR-S headlight retrofits)

Casings Only (pair)

Low - $65.95
Low / High - $70.95

FR-S Bezels

$46.95 with kit

HID Kit (4.3k, 5k, 6k, 8k w/ AC Ballasts)

$64.95 with kit

As usual, all orders above $99 ship for free. In the picture above it is show with an H11 HID kit installed (35w).

I need to work out pricing to put a bunch of pieces together to make plug and play kits for both vehicle applications.

Sunday - Saturday of this upcoming week I'll be at SEMA so I must spend some of the nights with family leading up to that. I'll keep this thread in mind though and try to figure out all the combinations.

*PREORDER STATUS*

There is a minimum amount we have to commit to. It's not a large number. A little interest will get them on their way.

I need to know the break down between low only and high/low. This will help me purchase an appropriate amount of each.

Chris

How much for the low beam projector and bezel??

Thanks

Ahhh my vendor status has been removed. It said it expired today, but I paid it at 7PM CST.

At least this thread is still up.

The low beam housings + bezels would be $112.90. You can take another 5% off for being an ft86club member. At this point all invoices would have to be done manually by yours truly. Feel free to PM me.

The low beam projector would look exactly like the high. However you wouldn't see the mechanical flap on the inside. I'll see if I can get pictures of that.

EDIT: They confirmed. Outward appearance is the exact same. Same beam pattern without the flap.

EDIT #2: I have a picture of the beam pattern for the low beam fog light. Note that the projectors were on a table and that is why they are aimed so high. You can adjust the aim via screws on the side of the bracket. They can be accessed by removing the bezel on the FRS.

any updates ?

PhastekSport 11-13-2013 04:58 PM

They required the minimum purchase to 18 pairs, and we have not generated enough interest yet.

Asphalt~86 11-29-2013 12:56 AM

So what would the full cost be for a set up with 8khids? I'm totally in.

Advan-Emotion 12-04-2013 09:04 PM

Bump for the awesome idea of H/L fogs ;)

continuecrushing 12-07-2013 04:03 PM

PhastekSport 12-09-2013 11:32 AM

Updated interest list.

sav 12-10-2013 04:49 AM

I might be interested in Casings Only (pair) Low / High only.

Would definitely like to see more pics.

sav 12-10-2013 04:55 AM

Forgot to ask - how would the actuator be triggered for low/high? Would be awesome if it could be activated by switching the fogs on and off within a 10 sec period, or something like that.

Also, any details on the HID kits? Any chance of making 3000k available, what brand is it?

EDIT:
I see in the main thread that a switch would be needed. I reckon I'd look into building the 10sec on/off switch, might just take a bit of time but shouldn't be too difficult.

They are labeled "HERO" HID kits. We source them locally and have had great success with them. Only AC ballasts are used vs DC.

We're not looking into getting a full kit produced at this time as the general interest was lower than expected.

You could probably find a switch that can activate a second option if depressed within a certain timeframe. I would imagine this exists already in 12v form.

sav 12-11-2013 03:07 AM

Hi

Thanks for the info. Would the casings still be for sale at all? I'm pretty amazed that so few people are interested because it's genuinely cool and functional.

PhastekSport 12-11-2013 09:44 AM

Super functional. It's like having a second set of Morimotos down below. Since I have really dark tint on the headlights, the usable light was fairly low even with the OEM style glass fog light housings.

Not the case with these.

If we generate a little more interest, we can get this show on the road.

sav 12-11-2013 09:56 AM

Awesome! I'll see if I can line up some people from this side.

How many more do you need?

continuecrushing 12-12-2013 03:19 PM

Please get more in on this haha

I've been trying my hardest to wait lol, but I want LIGHT!

tekkenman 12-16-2013 01:14 AM

Come on everyone! How can yall not be interested in this? I did the Forestor fog lights with hids and it looks horrible. Switching back to halogen doesn't help, even those silver stars didn't help. My headlights overpower the halogen because of the hids. This is the only answer for me! haha. I tried looking at their website, but they only sold in wholesale amounts. Ebay wanted close to $100 or more per set vs 70 bucks a set here?

torkeyvr6 12-23-2013 07:03 AM

Sign me up Torkeyvr6 for the bi xenon ones!!!! Come on people this is a super cheap price.

axhandler1 12-23-2013 10:42 PM

Count me in for a full set of hi/lo projectors and the casings if you can generate enough interest to put together a full plug and play package.

torkeyvr6 12-27-2013 10:40 AM

Any word guys on this? The minimum order??? If not I will end up buying them online.

I am really looking forward to this? Any word?

torkeyvr6 01-03-2014 08:22 AM

Forget it count me out now I found them online for 45 a pair.

sav 01-03-2014 08:23 AM

Wow, where?

where? i would like to know too. probably a knock off though.

sav 01-06-2014 02:19 AM

I don't mind a knock off as long as it's quality and it works.

PhastekSport 01-06-2014 10:23 AM

Since this is taking one of our commercial posts spots and others have already posted competitor information I am retiring this thread.

The manufacturer would have been selling it to us for over 45 dollars a pair. I have not located the product at that cost, but feel free to post up in a non commercial area.
