Local dealerships with specials on FR-S in NOVA?

Looking at purchasing a FR-S in the next week or two, any dealership rated above the other in the Northern VA area?

I think it would be best to just call some of the local dealers to see if they're coming across some. I would bet that all of the ones that come in are picked up right away or bought on the spot. It was pure luck that I got a mt brz limited. Theres a lot of people on forums that bought it on the spot. You should call and see if you can set something up.

All the local dealers around have plenty in stock, that's not an issue. It would be nice to know if there are dealerships out there willing to budge on price and work with the customer a little more. Ill have a trade-in so I guess it's whatever dealer can give me more for the trade.

it is usually best to go to carmax and get an estimate. so you know how much you will get and use that as your barginning tool. Just keep in mind that with a trade-in, your purchase price will be lower, so less tax.

Didn't realize taxes would be lower, thanks!

It's extremely hard for a scion to go cheaper due to pure pricing. Only way you get below sticker on a scion is if you worked there. Another way is to purchase it when the 2014 year model is released.

The best deal I got for mine was getting a grand more on my trade in. No dealer that I know of is willing to budge at all due to the twins huge popularity. If you don't buy it for full price, someone will. Some dealers around here are even selling above msrp.

How's the process going?

Retrieve few appraisals from different dealers and use it to lower the price. I went to several places to get my previous car appraised and surprisingly carmax gave me the most. Toyota offered 1k less than carmax and they matched what carmax appraised like what all dealers should do to sell their cars.

Ourisman Toyota Scion has 7 of them (5 in chantilly, 2 in fairfax). I have to imagine with that kind of stock they might be willing to make some deals. 6 of the 7 are 6MT's, 1 AT.

Made dealerships fight it out. 27000 flat for limited with package 1b and lifetime oil change/carwash.

Subaru doesn't have the Pure Pricing model so their dealer network has more flexibility in pricing.

Is that a legit $24,099? A lot of dealers include all available discounts in advertising even though the buyer might not qualify.

Sounds like you're right, here's the fine print:

Quote:

WOW prices include all applicable rebates and incentives from Toyota. Some included rebates may require financing through the manufacturer and are therefore subject to credit approval. Additional rebates and incentives, such as Military or College Graduate programs, may apply to those who qualify. WOW pricing may not be compatible with special factory financing. WOW prices are valid based on manufacturer incentive program time periods, which vary by make. See dealer for details.
They also have a Firestorm listed at 23,810.

Yeah you got to watch out for the WOW pricing. It will WOW you when you find out the real price isn't even close when you get to the dealer and make the deal.
