18x9.5 Linea Corse Lemans - Silver w/ Polished Li (5x100/e30)
We wanted something that would be a little aggresive for the BRZ yet work for us from a performance stand point so we went out on a limn on this one, wheel dude helped us out on getting these wheels.

I'm excited to see what you guys do with it. What camber settings are you running with your wheel/tire set up? Any fender mods?

Jive Turkey 10-17-2012 03:48 AM

any rubbing issues with taht setup guys? i'm looking into 18x9.5+40 with a 255/35 starspec and my buddy is telling me i should go to a +35 instead. car will be on coilovers..

We are running -2.7 camber front & -1.7 rear
There is some slight rubbing in the rear on VERY fast large bumps on the highway. The tabs on the fenders in the rear have been trimmed lightly. No modifications up front needed (with or without camber plates).

Exhaust
So far we have had two exhaust on the car other than stock. Both we have liked very much in one way or another.

Mach-V
The first exhaust that was installed was the Mach-V BRZ/FRS Muffler Delete Pipe
http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/fastwrx_2228_129900164
You can find our review on this exhaust HERE!

Nameless
After a few weeks our second exhaust came in. This is a Custom Nameless axle-back muffler delete.

They sure aren't the lightest wheels that's for sure. Next time they are off of the car I will get a weight on them for you.

what do you feel is the appropriate amount of camber f/r for strictly street duty?

On a more stock car in the front I would suggest picking up some camber bolts and running as much camber up front as possible.

The rear is non adjustable from the factory, ours was 1 degree different from left to right so we needed to either do bushings or arms.

We opted for the arms for ease of install and had them in stock.

Overall a -1.5 front and rear will work out well on a very much stock street car.

Mine was 1 degree off as well and went with the same arms, install is so much easier than the camber bushing and the adjustment is pretty nice too. I am running -1.3 up front and -1.5 in the rear currently seems perfect for the street.

Camber Bolts

We started off with just doing eccentric camber bolts up front in the lower holes.
http://turninconcepts.com/images/81260_1.jpg

We were able to get a max of -1.6 on the right but only -1.2 on the left.

do you think i'll have to run -2.7 in the front to fit 18x9.5+40 255/35/18 star specs on the car? the car will be on coilovers so i think i'll have more clearance and i plan to lower it to have essentially almost no visible wheel gap.

how do you like the mach v springs, i kind of want to make them my winter/stock strut setup and coils for summer/track.

loved your products on my sti, and i had a blast at your facility on the 48hrs two years ago! hope all is well!

OrbitalEllipses 10-17-2012 07:48 PM

<3 TIC.

Are you carrying the Whiteline catalog for this car yet? How 'bout Tom's 1lb pulley? Want to buy parts nao...

Also, bushings.

You should be good to go from a fitment standpoint on that wheel/tire setup.

We have not had the chance to test out the Mach-v springs yet. As soon as we get a chance we will have these tested and post a review.

We really appreciate hearing this type of stuff from customers. This is exactly why we do why we do!

How much room on the front between the wheel/tire and the strut. Is there enough room to run a 18x9.5 with a +45 offset?

Good to see you guys here. Enjoyed your posts on IWSTI.

There seems to be enough room it really depends on how much camber you are going for as well as how you are adjusting the camber.

So, we have been SUPER busy working with a few companies on some NEW products for the car. You should see some really cool parts available soon for the BRZ/FRS.

Koni Yellows

We were contacted by the great guys over at Koni when they found out that we had picked up our BRZ. We were excited to do some work together and now have the first set of Konis for the BRZ/FRS. We will be posting up a review here shortly but for now some teaser shots.
