There is no weight savings unfortunately. Weight is actually increased due to the additional material.

OK, so out of curiousity, with the front and rear adjustable eibach swaybars, what would be the combination of front/rear swaybar settings with the very most neutral handling?

That is totally going to be driver dependent. Something you would have to find out for your own style of driving. And honestly, to give you what I think would be neutral I will have to install these and do some testing once they arrive.

I assume everyone is down for a good review on that?

Yes sir, most definitely I'm down for a review. I'm very seriously considering this package (eibach springs & front/rear swaybars). I had Prodrive springs and Hotchkis (believe eibach manufactured those for Hotchkis) swaybars on one of my STis and I loved that combo for a daily driver. Much more so than a later STi I had with a coilover setup. Subjective opinion of mine, everybody is different. BTW, that is why I originally asked you about potential weight savings of the hollow/tubular swaybars over stock. On that STi setup, the aftermarket hollow/tubular swaybars were actually lighter than stock, but at same time more stiff than the stock swaybars.

I know the "feeling" of the swaybars will be subjective by driver, but I was more interested in which settings create most neutral feel. It would seem that most (not all) would probably be able to agree on something like that, though they might not necessarily prefer a neutral handling car.

Hey Cap, just to let you know, Hotchkis manufactures their own sway bars. Hotchkis has actually private labeled sway bars for other companies that wanted their own spec.

You know, it's been so long (bought and installed the Hotchkis competition sway bars in 2004 on my MY04 STi)... You are right. I believe the Cobb sway bars were rebranded Hotchkis. And the Eibach/Hotchkis were always rumored to be the same because they have the same specs, but that was never proven.

What spring rates would you be using with these arb?
I had the early set fitted with 6k/6k springs and the cross talk was quite noticeable at the front. The guy I gave them to had them briefly on with oem springs but they didn't stay on for long for the same reason. Would have been worse with the softer springs.

kwv3 4k/5k, so softer than yours and if i have the newer set, it'll be worse? any stiffer-than-oem arb will reduce suspension independence anyways
