Checking for ECU tune - List of good CVNs for CALIDs?
I'm trying to see if my car came with a tune. Reading posts especially from @steve99 says that I will have to compare my CALID and CVN both which I can get from an OBD2 tool. If the CVN is not from a known good value it indicates that the ECU has been tuned/tampered.
The only problem is - does a list exist of all CALIDs to known CVNs? Tried googling to look for one but there isn't any... |

i dont have list but if you read the tune from ecu you can compare it to a stock rom |
or do a log with valuable data we should be able to spot a stock tune

usually cams get changed, also afr target/actual, and maf voltage and mass air flow g/s
we can look then if they match the stock tune |
If you have a friend with same ecu calud you could check CVN against that if its stock

I could only log from Torque though, which I could only get the AFR target / actual, MAF (g/s) and timing advance. Quote:

There is small check to tick, your kept the log private
so please go to Edit log and make it public |

Also, calibration ID is ZA1JF00A if that helps. |
too few data, not even Engine speed.. sorry

Is there anything else you require other than engine speed? |
intake and exhaust cam will help
also flkc and knock corr, usually it gets reduced tova minimum of -0,7 instead of -1 as minimum correction injection angle if available, try to put many things, i dont know how torque works |

Meanwhile I have added more OBD2 PIDs to another log below, I will soon bust out Techstream for additional logging parameters - thanks for having a look @tomm.brz and for entertaining me :D https://datazap.me/u/compelica/normal-run?log=1&data=8 |

It looks like a stock tune from AFR https://datazap.me/u/compelica/norma...8&zoom=307-337 that section shows AFR measured richest is 12.16 which is stock AFR scaling. Also the commanded AFR goes way rich to 10.5 AFR like stock tune. most tuners will lean commanded arf to about 11.8 stock has commanded afr down to 10.5 or so most tunes cars dont target that low |
