To those who rebadged as a toyota..
I apologize if this has been asked already but I was thinking about rebadging my fr-s with toyota badges and was curious, what toyota badges will fit (i know there are prongs on the back of the scion badge)?
Is there a badge from specific toyota make/model/year that will fit? To those that have rebadged as a toyota, where did you get your toyota badges from? Thanks |
Use the search button... Ull find a whole thread on it.........
|
No other toyota badges will fit.
Only toyota 86 or gt86. Most of us bought it from carson toyota for $65 shipped He is a board member/vendor here |
we have them in stock.

Personally, I ordered mine from ft86speedfactory.com. They were like $35, came with the adhesive already on just had to peel away some film and plop on there.

But if your already ordering other stuff on ft86speed other then just the emblems not sure if 2.63 $ is worth for different shipment ... Thanks for the site :) bookmarked it |
I want to rebadge but the scion badge on the steering wheel makes it seem pointless.

Put a Lexus badge on it instead. Toyota badge = cheap appliance car.
|
This is where I got my emblems, they are perfect fit.
http://ft86speedfactory.com/frs-gt86...04e1f3917cdcae I got my GT86 badge from nigel-jdmparts which has no pins, it sticks with double sided tape, which is included. http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/toyota...d=gt86%20badge Quote:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...=airbag+emblem You can see my results with the DIY on the second page I have the toyota wheel caps, and trunk liner as well. There is zero trace of scion in my vehicle now. |

I considered that, along with the rear bumper application and the Scion centercaps on the wheels. But to be honest, unless looking for those things, when you look at the car the toyota badges still look amazing (and much better in my opinion). But depends on your level of OCD. |

Just to clear things up the confusion the badges that fit are: Corolla Part# 90975-A2003 and Avalon Part# 90975-02069
They are cheaper than the JDM badges and look the same. |

Haha I must be the only person in the world who thinks the Scion badge looks better than the Toyota one:

So if you change your badges, does it add 10 hp every time to change one to a Toyota badge?
Still don't understand the badging.... Scion = Toyota. If someone asks, just tell them it's a branch of Toyota. A free 3 second sentence. Telling them it's a Toyobaru will cause brain overload. |

I'm also not crazy about forcing the front one off. I just know I'll be the one person where the bumper cover gives way before the badge pins. |
