Ive now had my tune on for almost 6 months and i think its actually TOO good throttle respons, the gas is so twitchy and sensitive i have to be so careful when applying gas for it not to jerk. Going on and off the gas gets really annoying with the car jerking all the time because the gas is so twitchy. I have to be so careful and strain my foot so hard because im trying to go so slow when applying the gas.

Can i alter this to a less aggresive throttle response somehow? I just use the stock Stage 2+ tune.

copy the drive by wire DBW throttle tables from a stock tune into the oft tune

I had the same problem with the OFT tune. Hated that it was so sensitive in the first 10% of pedal travel. Do as Steve suggested or you can customize the stock table to be even less aggressive as I did.

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone could help me out?

I previously had an OFT v1 installed to my car. Long story short, I'm now boosted with Ecutek and don't think I ever un-married my OFT.

Does anyone know if I'm still able to unmarry the OFT? I think if I were to write the 'original' OFT stock tune back to my car, I will lose my Ecutek license? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

My car came with a non-stock tune already on it, which has caused the tablet to not generate any tunes and none of the ones from the site to work (" not compliant" ) searching brought me to this thread and I found:

The fix is to download the full format .bin tunes from openflash site unzip the downloaded files

I cannot find any such files on the open flash site, do they still exist or is this info dated?

I am installing a turbo soon, and getting a tune. So I’m wondering m, will I still be able to use OFT for real time data monitoring?

if your tuning with oft yes
if your tuning with ecutek maybe depends on ecu calid

Sur 06-10-2022 10:34 PM

I’m tuning with tactrix.

If your calid is

A01G
A01I
K01I
K00G

B01C
B01D

oft will log correctly other calid it will be unknown if it will log correctly

Mine is AOOC. I’m told that mine was one of the first made and needed to be updated from the dealer. If updated it would change to B01C. So does that mean that will be in the category that won’t log correctly even though my ecu is the same as B01C?

The tune I have from the the manufacture of my kit is for B01C. He told me this information about the ecu insuring me that the B01C is the correct tune for my A00C. I was questioning it because my tune for OFT is in fact A00C. So having a tube file sent to me with a different ID concerned me.

I can always is an app to monitor my data if I can’t use OFT. But I have it mounted and I am used to it. Until I get some real gauges of course. I have oil pressure, and I plan to get boost and AFR. But until I can afford it, I’d like to use OFT.

the ECU is physically the same it just flashed with different firmware.

if your car is A00C then B01C is a compatavle factory update eom amd a better rom to base your tune on. Jist flash in a B01C rom with tactrix

Great so if they are in fact the same, then I will be able to still use OFT for real time data monitoring.

That’s all I was really looking to do.

Thank you Steve. I appreciate you taking the time to explain to me.
