You could do it like the people that import the GTR's, strip them apart and import them as parts, put them back together here and register at kit cars...of course Cali is crackin down now and importing most of them

Well, I'm sure they can be shipped, but that would be subject to your federal and state laws, I imagine. Much like what Old Skoo said.

It's too bad, too. I wish I had some extra coin (and a garage). I would love to build myself up a nice R32 GT-R.

I thought, any car that is 25 yrs old can be imported. So R32 is in 5 yrs... or maybe just my state?

Like I said, I don't know your laws. I know here in Canada the law allows for importation of JDM cars once they are 15 years old. R32s are everywhere here in Vancouver.

I would guess it would comparible to what my GTS was going for when it came out base high teens the sport model mid to high twenties.

Id like to see it that way keeping the sport model a more rare find on the streets.

The imports couldnt you just go a junk yard with cordless drill and pull some vin tags? I had a buddy back in the day did this on his car he wrecked. It worked but he did have his own garage and inspection station.

I wonder what the local cops would think if the pulled you over and you are on the wrong side of the car. That said I had my IS parked at the local Mcdonalds last month and when I came out there was a right hand drive skyline parked next to me. I guess its done.
