Such question - how thick vs stock these rear mats are? Noticed, that it wouldn't be THAT bad with someone sitting in back, if legs could be put deeper below front seats, so that knee is against back of front seats. But due seats being very low, passenger seat hight non adjustable, and hard to put feet for passengers in rear under front seats have to be moved more to front, limiting lot of space for seated in front, then they could have been. Hence the question about thickness ..

Thes 3d maxpider floor mats are thinner than the stock ones. It's a rubbery plastic top and the bottom is grippy to stay in place. They also have those two holes that lock them in place, so they're going nowhere. They appear flimsy taking them out of the box they come in because they are so light but they are stiffly made and once installed they hold in place and do what they are supposed to. To reiterate for anybody wanting floor mats to purchase. These ones fit perfect and look good, there is nothing wrong with them in any way. There is very few times that you can say a product is without flaws and I think this is one of them. I've had mine for about a year now and they have no wear. I feel like I'm a salesman for their company here but these mats are really the way to go for replacing the stock carpet ones. There are a plenty of options now since the car has been out for a while including these: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Toyota-PT908-18130-20-Floor-Mat/dp/B00CJG4IE2"]Amazon.com: Genuine Toyota (PT908-18130-20) Floor Mat: Automotive[/ame] but these 3d maxpider ones seem to look the best.
