Definitely get it looked at. It only gets worse.

For now I put a book on it while it is parked in the shade to try and get the glue to restick.

If it gets worse I'll definitely take it in.

I got mine fixed, it took a day. When I picked it up I noticed scratches on parts that I have never touched...also the kid that did the work ripped my power feed wire from my winjet foglight kit. I got all the new parts that were scratched ordered...and I fixed the power feed line.

Just noticed mine doing this today, not looking forward to having them replace the dash...

Noticed mine lifting on hot days. Sigh.

So happy they replaced my dash. The bubbling/lifting was such an eye sore.

That's exactly what mine looked like.

Mine is starting to do this as well but only on the passenger side. For those who had it replaced, is the new one faring any better?

thatfilipinoguy 05-14-2014 11:36 PM

So far so good, but I think a sunshade will prevent it :)

My new one has been perfect so far.

I put my reflective sunshade in the window anytime it's going to sit in the sun for awhile. I do it mostly to keep the inside a little cooler, but my Xterra dash is still pristine at 16 years old and I've always used a similar fold out shade on it.

p.s. Kmart, $10 or so.
