Around here you could buy a modded TT stick supra for 20-25k. After the movie, they were going for that much stock!

In Canada, BRZ Limited was $29,250, and I think it's a bit higher this year. After taxes and dealer BS mine cost $34,xxx. Add on another $1500 for winter rims and tires, I'm at close to $36,000 just to drive it.

So true! My friend bought a 240sx for $700 before the movie. Completely stock, rust-free, overall mint condition. After that dang movie, prices skyrocketed to like $3k for a same condition 240, if not more!

what hype? I've seen like a hundred youtube videos and everyone of them only praise how much fun it is to drive around, steering response is awesome, interior is okay, needs more horsepower, and that it's a lightweight RWD car.

Sorry, buy buying a car based off reviews and not being able to test drive it before buying is just dumb. This is a $24-28K Scion/Subaru, not a $200K exotic...

Like every car out there, if you don't know what you're getting there's a good chance you'll be disappointed. I bet there's guys over on Mustang forums lamenting how ungainly their car is and how they miss their more agile Civics or whatever.
