i tried doing this mod but find myself too anal retentive and paranoid to be satisfied without knowing for sure I'm not messing up the sensor or the clutch. I'm in the East bay (Fairfield) is anyone nearby that could help me out?

You don't need a shorty wrench at all... The natural thing is to try to use the wrench at a 6:00 position, which doesn't allow enough room. 9:00, on the other hand...

Not too nearby, in Castro Valley, but if we can set a time for you to head down, I'll help. Really, you just have to adjust it so the clutch pedal is maybe 1cm higher than the brake pedal. It's much more comfortable than stock and still gives tons of room to fully disengage the clutch.

I've actually already adjusted it but cant seem to get the right adjustment. I feel like the sensor's collar is pushing on the clutch too much and is dictating the height instead of the clutch master rod. It would be great if anyone could reply with some pictures of the positioning of their clutch master rod and the sensor threading. Just so i can see how far the threading is at both locations to have a reference.

I moved the clutch switch so that it is not the stopper of the pedal when released. That means the switch isn't completely depressed ever, just mostly depressed when the clutch pedal is released. If the switch is stopping the pedal, you need to move the switch back.

thats what i figured, could you take a picture of your sensor threading. Both in the engaged and depressed position. Also of your clutch master rod threading?

Make sure you're spinning the clevis and not the rod. Shouldn't need to worry about the sensor then.

The thing is i've already adjusted the sensor and dont recall how it was positioned prior to adusting it. im not having any issues with the rod/cleavis adjustment, moreso with the sensor.

I'll try to remember too. Harder than it sounds.

my clutch pedal makes a single click noise now when i shift gears after i depress it and let off it. I wonder what it may be, it sure is annoying. Anyone knows how i can fix this?

also it happens first 10 min of driving, after everything is warmed up, the noise goes away. It only clicks when the car is on and I am driving. if it is off and i am depressing the clutch pedal, it makes no noise

Get down there and check it out. Try Changing the adjustment.

You should try it out yourself. It is very easy to reverse once you get down there.

I waited a year to adjust my clutch pedal. I couldn't be more happy with the results. The car is so much easier to drive in every way. :thumbup:
