They are replacing the clutch, flywheel, transmission and possibly the master and slave cylinder.

There is a tranny on its way from Japan but they will not know if it's already allocated to someone else until tomorrow. If it is allocated then in could take 2-3 months for a new one.

They also mentioned the IQ needs to be returned because there was a recall on them this morning for the seat belt tensioner. Lol

I love the car but may think I got a bad one. Time to get back on the phone with SOA.

Dealer said all my parts are in and the car should be back today....Wtf

I think they took the parts out of donor car. Can't confirm it as I can't get a hold of my service guy. Trust me I am more than happy if I can get back into my car sooner!

Big two Toyota really does seem like a great dealership.

Turns out they are not from a donor. Just waiting to see if they can get it going today.

Any updates?

With all your problems, I am glad now I returned that orange FR-S. (that had problems from the get go)

Should be gritting the car back tomorrow. They said Toyota is having them document everything so its taking longer.

They thought it was going to be a few more days because they didn't get the tranny fluid. I told them I would find some and get it to them. They called me back and let me know it came shipped with fluid which is not how Toyota does it.

...lol wow my clutch now feels like all the other FRS clutches I drove....hmmm wonder if I was right about the clutch having issues the entire time. Time to drive.

My 4th has started to get kinda notchy if I even slightly rush the shift. I'm at 12,000 miles and stock fluid. My clutch has always been somewhat inconsistent also. Is that how you would explain your clutch acting?

Car feels a million times better. I am 100% sure it was the slave cylinder that they replaced that fixed it all. Feels like a new car should.
