What type of dyno did you run the base tune of the innovate on for 216 whp. Probably not the dynodynamics huh? You were already at 200 whp on that dyno and the sc would most definitely add much more than 16 whp on that dyno.

And wow, 200 whp on 93 octane! That is just incredible!

wrxgoose 07-16-2013 05:15 PM

was the dyno dynamics, but you have to remember: she was tuned previously, and had the Injen intake. Now, she's pulling a lot more air through, and using the stock air box, so she leaned out like crazy.

TRD_07 07-16-2013 05:24 PM

Great build and looking forward to your final results with the sc. Also, 200hp na looked and sounded awesome!

FnFast 07-16-2013 05:43 PM

looking good man.

wrxgoose 07-17-2013 01:36 AM

hit 243.1 WHP and 211 lb/ft. Will update first post soon.

JuniorAWD 07-17-2013 03:40 AM

Glad I could help today.. You should flash in that last map I sent you lol

wrxgoose 07-17-2013 04:14 AM

Its running real rough at idle (2nd to last map). Will the last one help clear that up?

Edit: should clarify. Feels like it wants to stall. Keeps dropping to ~500 rpm

matchamochi 07-17-2013 05:04 AM

Any idea what sort of 1/4 mile times you can hit?

wrxgoose 07-17-2013 05:53 AM

not yet. Feels faster than my WRX was (2002), but I need to find time to make it to a strip.

sw20kosh 07-17-2013 07:29 AM

243 on 93 pump gas! Nice! Gain an extra 15 - 20 with water meth! Gogogo haha

But seriously I want to know what 211 ft lbs feels like. :) Thats 30 more than what mine has now... That header really boosts the torque value hah. I think that is basically the only difference between us besides the tuner.

IntotheOcean 07-17-2013 08:17 AM

 that's so sick

swift996 07-17-2013 12:11 PM

So FA20Club tune, 93 octane, borla header...and??

wrxgoose 07-17-2013 01:24 PM

Perrin headerback 3" exhaust

TRD_07 07-17-2013 01:35 PM

Grats! It looks really good.

swift996 07-17-2013 03:01 PM

I'm hopping for 245whp on 93. I knew it was achievable with bolt-ons. All the innovate dynos have been all stock for the most part.

The final map i was sent (but havent installed yet - want to be on a dyno to verify), should pull me up higer than that.

I tuned it to 245 btw, he was having issues with the other tuners map I believe.

wrxgoose 07-19-2013 05:36 PM

small update: received second box of happy. thanks @FA20club!

07jazzrs5gt86 07-20-2013 02:01 AM

@wrxgoose

Sick build bro

I have the same idea too first start NA - full 3" catback + headers + over&front pipes + tune then FI
Vortex is what I want it make the engine looks hella clean

And damn that exhaust is wicked

wrxgoose 07-20-2013 04:30 AM

As much as I love the Injen intake, I should have gone with the Perrin, since it can be used with the Innovate SC.

lbroskee 07-20-2013 06:02 PM

@wrxgoose any chance of clutch swap for more power or just stopping shy of it? also what is the boost level of the setup?

wrxgoose 07-20-2013 10:12 PM

I don't have a boost gauge, so I believe it's 7.5psi, and a clutch is definitely the next powerish mod

swift996 07-21-2013 02:11 PM

Dyno plot? I hit 237 with E50, was hopping for those numbers on 93 pump.

The dyno is on the first page and I believe he also has a over/down pipe in addition so that might be helping him breath better?

keep in mind that this is NOT a final tune. i'm running a new map now that I believe has fixed 90% of the AFR issues. Think I might be over 250whp, but I really need to get on a dyno, and get it finalized. And on 93 octane

Nice man, yeah if those A/F were accurate they were off a pretty good amount. Sorry I think I missed it but could you spell out your upgrades? Just want to understand where my set-up might be holding back power.

wrxgoose 07-21-2013 04:57 PM

borla UEL headers, and Perrin 3" headerback exhaust. if you have 2.5" that could be one reason, or it may be the tune. I really think that with a finalized tune (maximized w/ AFR) I really do think that I could be over 250whp. though I might also have a freak engine

wrxgoose 07-26-2013 07:27 PM

first post updated with POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

TRD_07 07-26-2013 10:20 PM

Wow, the last dyno plot looks pretty good for the non-intercooled version. I wonder how the intercooled version will perform compared to non.

lbroskee 07-27-2013 12:13 AM

HOLY SHIT!!! need stage 2!!!

StOpNG0x 07-27-2013 12:24 AM

Nice job on the build Goose. We'll have to get up so you can take me for a ride so I can be jealous and force myself to get one haha.

I'd also like to hear the Perrin in person because I've considered getting a catback.
