I'm really interested in what you come up with, as well as with your other thread. Keep it coming! :respekt:

holy crap. i have so many questions but i'm sure they'll get answered as you continue your build write up. how are you gonna make itbs work with dbw? what kind of ecu or engine management system would control this?

Motec M150 could do it nicely. They even make a plug-and-play harness!

What's the difference, performance wise, of having four itb verses four tuned length runners from a plenum and one throttle body?

For high rpm power, there's no practical way to make the runners short enough on a boxer engine. On an inline 4 you can make them whatever length you want, but we need to get air much further apart to both banks.

Lol....the cost of Motec M150 will be more than this ITB kit. But it sure is :drool::drool::drool:

stand alone fuel management system... not a bad way to spend 10,000 dollars

Can't wait to see how this turns out, I wish we could run some more aggressive intake setups in STU.

Yup. Motec is popular for a reason, though... It's pretty powerful stuff and really isn't a bad price for the capabilities it's got.

I mean, no one's disputing it's expensive, but it's more than a fuel management system, it's basically everything but ABS. Traction control, launch control, etc. can all be handled. Especially with throttle-by-wire, you can do fun stuff like throttle-controlled traction control, etc.

why do you say that can not be made short enough?
