Before shelling out for complete fogs, I'm going to get a pair of stock bulbs and try to remove the base and solder them to some LEDs. I know it'll kill the light output, but it'll improve the looks. And since that's about all OEM fogs are good for.....

If you are strictly looking to have a yellow color why not just use yellow window tint on the fog light? you can buy it at walmart, pepboys ect ect and its cheap/easy. and if you dont like it you can just peel it off.

So the 9009 are = to the Stock BRZ fog light bulbs.

I know this is an old thread revival, but this is the first thread that comes up when searching "FR-S fog light bulb," so in case anyone was wondering, the OEM FR-S fog light bulb is NOT 9009.

It's an H11 bulb in the FR-S.

you just saved me time, money and destroying my fog light housing haha.

Factory FR-S foglights are H11 bulbs and factory BRZ foglights are PSX24w. We offer LED foglight upgrades for both the FR-S and BRZ.
