I think people don't understand that, this car cost about close to or little over 30k after tax.
I am sure most of us here was looking into cars in range of mid 40k car and afford it.
Don't let haters hate for your enjoyment.

I get it. This car looks hot. It looks more expensive than it is. I actually had a client say she wished she could afford a car like mine... as she was getting out of a $50K Lexus SUV.
When people see someone driving a hot car, some of them make assumptions about the driver. They often decide that you don't deserve it, or that you wasted your money on it, and that it's any of their business. Some of them think it's their job to "teach you a lesson" by driving aggressively around you. After all, you're an asshole for driving such a car (regardless of how you actually drive it), so you deserve to be punished.
When I drive my Jeep or one of my family's cars, I don't have nearly as many issues with assholes. My Jeep is a lot louder than the BRZ, and I probably drive a little more aggressively in it than in the BRZ. If it were reaction to driving style, I should get more negative attention with the Jeep. But I don't, because it's old and beat up, and none of the busybodies realize how much money is tied up under the hood that I don't "deserve" to have there.
I've been through this off and on through the years. When I had my Triumph, it was actually vandalized a few times by assholes who didn't think I deserved to be driving it. Nothing like that ever happened with my Mazda pickup. It happened with my Corvette. It never happened with my S10. It never happens with any of the vanilla rentals I drive.
Fuck those assholes. I'm not going to park my hot car just because some stupid piece of shit decides he or she has any right to judge my choice.
