I also want a better looking grill. When my Audi got in a fight with a wayward truck tire, I had the bodyshop put in a honeycomb grill I bought, and it made a world of difference.

Yeah, the rabbit didn't get stuck there though. The only grill option I've seen right now is the GrillCraft one.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of that grill.. I like the empty scoop look, honestly. Just don't want everything pelting my oil cooler, intercooler, radiator.. etc

I wanted to see what the front fascia would look like if the grill was removed. To my surprise, all i had to do was lightly tug on the perimeter of the grill and it easily came off with no damage to the bumper or grill.

So i guess to remove the grill with the bumper still on you could just push firmly on grill.

So would that be a push, with the bumper on, from front to the back of the car? Or rather a pull, with the bumper on, from front to the back?

Not quite sure what the consensus is though, are there any screws (2-3) that hold the grill on the bumper. I'd much rather not take off the bumper if I don't have to.

with the bumper on, push the grill in from front of car towards back.. when remounting the grill, it might be hard to see where the little tabs fit back in place though.

Side note, removing the bumper is pretty easy.. took me about 20 minutes 'cause i was kinda cautious and it was my first time, plus you get to see how everything is put together so it might be a good experience for future reference to take it off.

Here you go, from what I can tell from my grill there are 18 tabs

you have to remove the bumper to take it off because the top part sits flush on the shock absorber. push in and you should hear the tabs pop..
