Its not difficult to do the springs particularly on a new car, its up to how handy you feel and if you have the right tools and it doesn't take any special tools to do it (except spring compressor which you can rent). I'm just gettin too old and too outta shape to be bothered to do it myself. |

http://darklygaming.com/forum/styles...ies/badass.png a coilover is anything where a spring, or coil, is placed over the damper unit. http://darklygaming.com/forum/styles...lies/story.png semantics aside the dude wants a cheap alternative, but there are no alternatives you can cut springs or put on a wheel+tire combo with an overall lower diameter, but these are hardly alternatives.. more like last ditch efforts. http://www.darklygaming.com/images/dealwithit.png |
Lowering springs are your cheapest option for lowering your car. I'd personally save up some and just get some cheap coilovers.
Cutting your springs on a brand new FR-S? You will go down in history as one of the biggest idiots on this forum. Hall of shame will feature you for life. |
Smaller wheels and tires haha might loeer you a bit won't look good tho
Glad you didn't get scammed miniguy |
