Is that cause for concern?

Still better than the 30 psi or less that have been seen with non-aero, sx2 cars at Thunderhill.
Speaking of which, @Ansix Auto, what was the tire, suspension and aero setup on the car in the video? |
At 40psi we’re not concerned at all. I’ll upload a video tomorrow of some data where it dropped below 20psi. This was before we made the changes to address the issue directly.
255 RE71Rs KW V4 with higher rates Front lip, canards and rear wing at the steepest setting with a gurney flap. |
Very interested on all of the oiling mods done to the car in the video. High 30s low 40s would be a considerable improvement versus the low 20s people have been seeing.

Nice! Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your setup and some comparisons!
Have you chatted with @900BRZ? Would be cool to see a collab/independent verification. |
We have not talked with @900BRZ. Once we release our findings, he’s more than welcome to make the same modifications.

Here's an onboard lap with our 2023 Subaru BRZ at the Ridge Motorsports Park. Here you can see that before addressing our oiling issues, we see the oil pressure drop below 20psi on multiple occasions.

Which wing is that?
|
Have you tracked it and collected data after applying your oiling fixes?
|
In your before video it looks like the pressure drops from around 45 to around 20ish, and in the second from 65ish to 45ish so similar pressure drops but just a higher overall baseline?
Is this correct or am I misunderstanding the data? |

Yes we have, the video is on the previous page. Quote:

That's great -- eagerly waiting to hear what you did to mitigate the issue (and hoping it wasn't adding an Accusump :) ) |

Any plans to release the data aside from just the videos? Would be curious to see the duration of the drops and compare the exact numbers, a bit hard to view on just video. I see on your site you guys sell a baffle pan, is that part of the solution in the "after" video? Thanks! |
