I bent the " inductor ring" I believe it was called, which is what the wheel speed sensor monitors. I dont think you'll have any problems driving in limp mode, I never read anything about sporadic braking fits or unpredictable driveability, iirc the abs system either works or it doesnt, which should be why the lights come on shortly after startup and stay on until they're cleared or restart the car.

Sure. Nothing will explode. Your ABS, and other driver aids will not be functional, so keep that in mind. Drive cautiously until you have it fixed.

You might consider pulling one of the ABS fuses in the meantime to fully disable it. I've seen weird stuff happen as a result of damaged sensors (ABS coming on when it wasn't supposed to, which significantly increased stopping distance, for example.)

thanks, finally got the replacement abs sensor and installed it. lights are gone. AWESOME 😀 appreciate your help bro

Well, I would suggest that you NOT drive the car until the brakes are fixed. If it's absolutely necessary to drive the car, drive very carefully and get familiar with using your emergency brake .. :eyebulge:

Back in the day, when we had only a single cylinder braking system and we pushed the brake pedal to the floor .. and it just stayed there, we learned how to rev match/downshift and pull on the emergency brake … all at the same time, as you looked for a soft spot in the ditch.

(that outta convince you to keep er off the road)

Normal for traction light to come on, I can explain in detail but basically the traction system is "ABS" while driving. Ex, if your car detects slip it will brake certain wheel(s) to maintain control with traction control on.

Not sure why CEL is on buy most likely related.

Replace wheel speed sensor and car should be fine to go right away.

most thread that I saw said that the CEL might be on when you got more than 1 light on in the dash so I guess that will be the reason why the CEL is lights on as well lol but thankfully I got to fix it right away 👍🏼 hehe thanks for the input, apprecciate it
