Maybe you should have mentioned you didn't have a manual ..... ;)

Yep, by changing the oil every 7,500 miles or 7.5 months, whichever comes first, outta keep a non-tracked machine running proper.

I prefer 0w20 weight myself ...... any name brand, full synthetic oil works for my 2013 FR-S.

Cool congrats. I would defiantly take it in to toyota for service to have everything checked out. You can bring in your own oil and have them do it for you. But defiantly have it changed with 0w30. Mishimoto makes a nice oil cooler get it with an thermostat plate. Other than that drive happy.

Thanks buddy much appreciated! I think my service is up with toyota so I'll have to take it somewhere else, I just hit the 3k mile mark pretty quickly so I was worried that I might need to change it quickly again. Thank you for the info tho! Very much appreciated!

Any time glad to help. Even if your service is up with Toyota take it there it won't be bad to have them look everything over since you are close to 50k. You can buy 0w30 full synthetic oil and take it in with you and have them put it in. It will save you some cash. Don't trust other places.

Can be. It's always good to follow your book and it also depends on a lot of other factors as well.

If you are just doing "normal" street driving then the alerts are the perfect time to do the maintenance since the car is programed to tell you either mileage or time whichever happens first.
