Ehhh, are you sure about hood vents? I haven't seen any data on this. If anything, I have seen empirical data that it doesn't actually help. You can take off the whole hood if you want.

This is still in the early development phase, but I'm working on my own ducting. Aim is to get my LS swap colled for drifting and track and as well keeping temps under control while sitting in a traffic jam and AC running @+100F.
My car is fully loaded and a daily driver mainly. AC installed, but this should work also on no AC appilcations. It will be made for the Gen1 86 (FRS) bumper. Features a front mounted 10 row oil cooler. Didnt want to cut the bumper, fog light openings will be used for brake ducting. (BTW, I also made custom vented backing plates for my BBK) Once its done I maybe can give some numbers, but will not be a scientific assessment. I built one, part of the reason for the bash bar was to make the ducting simple. No ac and run the forester cooler. Summer track days are over 40Deg C (104f) and the car used to overheat after a few laps. but with the ducted rad and hood vents i overheat before the car.
