Ah ok, that's interesting! Turbo Yoda's shed definitely is pretty amazing, as is any room with Kramer watching over it.

Can't wait to see more results from the kit!

Just got it back with a real basline tune on it no timing or anything put in. Have it for about a week before other parts arrive then it will go back in and get finished off.

Sounds like it can suck in birds when its spooling up lol.

Got some more pics of the kit ill throw them up soon. Kinda hard to really see much but ill throw them up anyway.

Hey Mate,

Yeah it now does. The older version used the stock air box. But they had alot of issues with clearance for the oil cooler lines for ppl and just general access to the engine bay round it was alot tighter. With the new way its just so much more room.

Hey mate,

They have 2 standard kits. Mine was custom since a bigger turbo and a few other things I needed changed.

Pretty sure there pricing is $9000 AUD installed and tuned for there base kit
And something like $9500 for there second kit which is a slightly bigger tubo and aimmed more at track over street. Or built engines etc.

Mine I honestly could not tell you. I got looked after and not charged for alot of the work cause it was the first time they had done a turbo this big with there kit and wanted to know if they could. So alot of the labour Al did not even charge me for!. I had alot of other things done at the same time so hard to really know.:thanks:

One reason would be because this is the only turbo kit out there for this car which has a thoroughly thought out intercooling system with no downsides.

The other reason I would love to have this kit come stateside is because TurboYoda really knows his shit and is one of the only builders I've seen that views turbochargers as a thermal energy harnessing device, not a mechanical one. Turbos spin because of heat extracted from the combustion process, the more heat you can extract, the more efficient your system is. I suspect that's why they're using a cast exhaust manifold, just like he uses thick walled piping in most of his custom builds, to keep the heat in them.

I would loooove to see this kit come to the US and gain some tuning support here. I'm also very curious as to the price.

That isn't bad at all considering the water to air intercooler and the cast exhaust manifold. Do they have a website?
