Often overlooked, brakes are one of the most critical elements of any high-performance machine. If you are building a car to go faster, then it makes sense for it to stop better as well. A good set of brakes will not only make your vehicle safer, it will also bring down lap times by allowing you to brake later into turns.



The WORKS Stage I Brake Package is designed for the entry-level enthusiast who mainly drives on the street, but may see some track or autocross action from time to time. This package combines our front and rear slotted rotors with the WORKS Blue brake pads to give you superb stopping ability on the street and the flexibility to use this setup on light track days. Our slotted rotors are designed to fit like OEM but boast superior construction for resistance to warping with directional vanes and machined slots to help dissipate heat and gases that build up under hard braking.

The WORKS Blue brake pads are a more aggressive street compound perfectly matched for these rotors. With a maximum operating temperature of 1050* F this compound has excellent grip at high temperatures, but unlike a pure racing compound the WORKS Blue pads come up to operating temperature quickly and are therefore safe for the street and more conducive to extend rotor life.

All of our brake packages also include the WORKS SS (Stainless Steel) Brake Lines for improved stopping performance and enhanced pedal feel along with 1.5L of Motul RBF 600 brake fluid.

A little more about what is included...



WORKS Stainless Steel brake lines are made in the USA and consist of the finest Teflon (PTFE) hose with stainless steel braiding which reinforces the assembly and our outer blue PVC sheath provides additional protection. Then zinc plated steel fittings are securely crimped to the ends of each line. DOT certified because safety in your braking system should not be compromised.



Over time and under continuous use, OEM rubber lines can swell and expand exposing the driver to brake fade. The rubber cover is also vulnerable to attacks from the ozone layer rubber which causes it to degrade and deteriorate.



Our performance lines increase safety and brake responsiveness due to no appreciable volumetric expansion in the brake lines.

Regarding our WORKS Blue brake pads,



WORKS has developed a brake pad specifically designed for someone who is going to primarily drive their car on the street but also wants to take it occasionally to the track.

With a maximum operating temperature of 950* F this compound will grip better under high temperatures, but unlike a pure racing compound the WORKS Blue pads come up to operating temperature quickly.



The WORKS Blue brake pads also work with a stock rotor setup unlike other more aggressive pads that will quickly eat up the OEM rotors.

In addition they will give you nearly silent operation when used in conjunction with the factory shims and installed properly.

WORKS Slotted Rotors are direct OEM replacements, provide better performance and less prone to warping because of their superior construction.

Each rotor is slotted to help prevent gasses from building up between the rotor and pad surfaces while the directional vanes offer improved cooling over the typical straight vane design.
