DD & HPDE Pads

We know that the OEM fluid & pads are not up for the occasional track use.

I installed StopTech P/N 309.11240 (rear) & StopTech 309.11240 (front)

Amazon has them for $55 per axle.

With a Motil 600 ($18 for 500ml) flush and these pads the brakes stayed true for all 4 of the 30 minute sessions.

The OEM pads melt at 700 degrees these have almost double that at 1360 degrees. The fluid is also approximately twice the boiling point.

They also do a great job on the street, quiet and reduced stopping distances.

I am satisfied with them FWIW

Below is their bullet points.. Real $$ savers if only 1/2 dozen or so track days a year

Perfect for spirited street and light track use, scorched pad surface delivers a positive bite even when pads are cold
High-temperature compound ensures consistent performance and even pad wear
Rotor-friendly low-dust formulation makes for cleaner wheels, factory-style shims virtually eliminate pad-vibration noise
Perfect factory fit, thanks to precision-cut backing plates
