BBK Caliper color opinions

My calipers are being powder coated tomorrow by Baer and I was pretty well set on the fire red translucent calipers but last minute has me thinking the translucent Arizona copper color may be the better choice. I was hoping I could get some feedback from you guys to help me determine which color I should go with. They both look amazing in person and they both hold up very well to track temps. The red is my favorite but it may be too much "pop" for my car. The red is insane in the sun. I have a whiteout FR-S and the Wheels are Rota RT-5s in Hyper black. I have put both calipers behind the wheels in both colors and at the time I thought the red was the choice but after thinking about it I am stuck because I personally like them both a lot....... I have the opportunity to change my mind to copper but I need to know asap.

have you thought about going a green/blue color? You really have a plethora of choies to do with a white car.
id do some photo searching and see what colors you like.

I have considered doing something totally off the wall but I am trying to stick with a clean look. Mature if you will..... I love the wild colors but I am not sure its the direction I plan to go long term.

Search for pictures of a white STI with black wheels; that will give you a better understanding of how your car will look with gold calipers and black wheels.

I like the copper. Red is overused.

Keep in mind this is not a normal red. It almost glows in the sun. They call it fire red and it really does take on that appearance. I have looked at tons of white STIs, EVOs, and 350Zs since they seem to have a lot of the gold calipers and I like em but they are not like this copper that Baer uses so its tough to compare. The pictures I put up just don't do either color justice. They are very unique looking in person. They both look like anodizing but with a clear coat so they look deep in color. They use a translucent powder coat.

Here is a close up of the red:

That red looks pretty sick, goes with the red trim inside the car also. The copper looks good too and may keep its color a little better long term.

I like Project Mu Teal but probably not the look you are going after

It's still red though, just a fancy red. At a quick glance it's red no matter what

Haha this is true. By the looks of what the feedback is I'll just have to do red on one side and copper on the other.

the first picture in this post is bothering me,

It appears that they installed aluminum sleeves in the piston bores and then final machined the pad pocket (albeit with really bad speed/feed data producing alot of chatter)

EDIT: on second thought the piston bore looks like it was simply masked before (whatever) plating process.

is this really how they finish their brakes? that is quite scary if that is the case.

Furthermore, that is not powdercoat...if it was powdercoat it would atleast cover all the shoddy machine work.

It is in fact powder coating. It is transparent powder that goes on like normal but when baked it turns clear-ish and I have personally used the same coating on various turbo kit charge pipes I have built. What you are seeing in regard to the piston pots is where a round sticker is placed to prevent any powder getting in their during coating but you caught that. The machining is actually pretty smooth in person. Some of the pics are high res shots and the coating used does amplify the machining marks. They are playing with the idea of tumbling the calipers prior to using the transparent coatings to eliminate the texture but personally I kinda like it.

They do offer regular old non transparent powder coating which does look smooth as butter
