My 7MGTE MA61 Supra

Delete this if it's irrelevant:

Well I bought it like this, with a 7MGTE and full 3" exhaust from the turbo back.

I put the unpainted front nosecose back on for RWC and rego.
http://img82.imageshack.us/img82/7619/buffy3jo0.jpg
Then it blew it's 3rd (this one being metal) headgasket.
After some time someone decided it was cool to run into me.
http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/3010/p1060087zj9.jpg
Thankfully for insurance, it then looked nice!

Then I added a bigger intercooler and Ed's old brake and wheel pack:

Then it had all the paint and interior ripped out, and became this:

Then after three years, at Sandown the 4th headgasket went on the back straight at just over 200km/h.
So the engine was fully rebuilt w/ forged pistons and a full balance. New everything... Plus I did most of the work myself which was great fun.

What is left to do:

Then the rear camber kit

Then, hopefully, finished

Here are all my other videos of the car. All of which were done on the racetrack or a private road. I am not a hoon..... .

Such a clean MK2! I've always liked the 7M-GTE over the 2JZ..there's just something special about that motor that I can't put my finger on. Take good care of her!

Nice, I keep my MkII as a stock/daily driver, wish I had the time to do similar to yours. Mine needs a respray soon, I'm gonna use the Hot Lava color. BTW, your wheels look fantastic!

Beauty, I had a blue/navy two tone MK2 with a 7M-GTE swap myself. I sure miss her.

I love me some MKII Supra! Yours is nice!! Sounds like it's fast and well-sorted, too! I thought about getting one and swapping a 3SGTE into it, but then the twins came out and I stopped wanting to mess with old cars.

Love what you've done to the car. Dont like the engine though, hated my MKIII just for the engine that was driving me mad. Well, on the otherside, my MKIII was not well maintained by the preowner, so I guess your engine will be better :-)

The wheels and the color just matches perfectly the 80s badass look. Please look well after her, cars like that should stay on the road forever

Thanks guys.

Yeah I will dig up some engine bay/interior shots. It's basically just stripey black standard interior - with pneumatic lumbar support pump and all

The idea was a car that looked fairly stock, but performed far from it...

I just need to get this gearbox fixed so I can drive it again!
