Remember the Midget GT86Q? It was built by Gazoo Racing engineers and the team took this mini 86 for some drifting at Japan’s D1 Grand Prix (D1GP) pro drift series.

See if it makes the cut at the D1GP! 🙂

If you haven’t yet seen on our forums, check out the first electric FR-S/86/GT86 build by Japanese electric propulsion specialist TGMY. In place of the 2.0-litre boxer petrol engine, the FT86EV uses a 75kW electric motor drawing power from a rear-mounted 37kWh lithium polymer battery pack.
