Rumor: FR-S, BRZ STi, FT-86 to Get 1.6L Turbo Engine In Second Year

Japan’s Best Car magazine has published an article with a rumor regarding a turbo version of the Toyota FT-86, Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ. According to the article, Toyota has plans to turbocharge the FT-86 / FR-S with a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine one year after the initial introduction of the models. This engine is said to be coming to the G’s and STi versions of the Toyota and Subaru models.
