Tad's CBS BRZ From The Start

I jumped on the preorder band wagon early (3-10-12), but I've been watching this car since the first concept car. This is the first new car I've ever bought and it should be around a long time if things go according to plan. It is going to pretty well stay stock until the warranty runs out then it game on. I my car history inclueds a 62 Bug, 97 Eclipse, 93 3000GT VR-4, several 240sx's (S13's & S14's), 97 Impreza Brighton, 93 Impreza Wagon converted to RHD and Full V4 swap with some goodies (up for sell right now in the fs forum), 02 WRX, 04 STI.

Picking her up:
The first 3 cars are mine lol

First mods:
Deciding on a tie down...one for the BRZ and one for the STI..Prodrive FTW

A little bit of debagging

My driveway for now (can't see the 2 Foresters)...looking for a new house so I'm selling 2 cars

Holding for futur use

This car already reminds me of a new age 240sx but handles slightly better...that being said do not turn off the VSC & TCS if you do not know how to drive well or your BRZ will end up like so many 240's have. I have never wrecked a car in my life but I know how to read the road and have always improved my cars handling ability so that it is very predictable. It will be very easy to get carried away and lose your car if you can't do what I've stated.

I've had far more 240's than subaru. The first time I had to take a racing seat out to go pick up my son, however, I knew I had to go to a 4dr. I really missed the awd turbo of my vr-4 but mitsubishi is exspensive. Subaru was the logical choice.

Nothing much for now, just a k&n filter and work kiwami 17x8 or 17x9's. Waiting to see what actually tucks and runs a decent size tire without having to mod the fenders or put flares.

Been a few months now, but lets list the new mods. First present on my birthday on the way to work was a cracked windshield. The next month my drive fender was dented and had nice white paint swap from the jerk off who hit it, I removed most of the dent and was able to buff and polish the paint.
Real mod that I like the most so far is aesthetic, painted my wheels with a little Rustoleum (oil rubbed bronze). Just a pic from autocross showing the rims.
